I served on the Poetry judging panel and had a blast reading and discussing the finalists. My favorite thing about February 14 is falling in love with the best of the best!

Kidlit Wikipedia project; here's an idea!

Over at the Writing For Kids While Raising Them blog Tara is talking about making sure that all our favorite children's authors and illustrators are included in wikipedia. Say what you like about students using wikipedia for research... it's there and they do. So why not be part of making sure it gets a little better?

Tara is encouraging us to be part of the action. Pick a favorite children's author or illustrator and find out if they are there. Add or improve upon the article. Hmmm... great idea!! I can do that!

I am going to start by reading over the Brown Bookshelf 28 Days Later posts and cross referencing to see who's included in Wikipedia. Where will you start?
