Sunday Garden Tour: Memorial Day Edition

Last Sunday I left my camera out in the rain. It stopped working the next day. I was heartbroken. I spent a couple days contemplating whether I should buy a new one in spite of all the pressing house maintenance items on my To-Do list and summer budget. Then my son Buster took the camera in to his friend in the camera shop where he used to work. It turns out all it needed is a good cleaning to get rid of the corrosion. It's back to good working order in time for another Sunday Garden Tour! Hallelujah!

new rosemary

This week I put a new rosemary plant in a pot for the sunny side of the house. I had a nice one last summer but I failed to keep it healthy overwintering in the house. I just love rosemary and always keep trying to help one thrive. They do best outside in the summer.

I've also been enjoying my porch. I think it's ready for summer now.

I discovered that I can sit in my porch swing and relax while my youngest entertains himself in the cherry tree in the front yard. Happy times!

I, too, am relieved that your camera survived. Beautiful shots. I am afraid I only have a single Ethiopian Daisy on my blog post today-not sure if that warrants a Sunday Garden Tour link. By next week I hope to have something more interesting.

So glad your camera was okay!

It's been so cold here that nothing's coming up in my garden. :-( But the photos of yours are absolutely gorgeous.

What a relief about your camera! I'm always moved by your photographs, and strive to emulate them when I use the camera. I need to sit down with my new camera and learn about it properly, instead of just enough to get by.

What wonderful news about the camera, which is taking pictures as well as ever. Beautiful shots. And what a clever and thoughtful son!

I'm not sure if I'm doing this right. Found your stroll via Becky at Farmschool and thought I'd link to my recent garden photos posts.
