What an interesting photo! Almost surreal.
Trees have always been a source of special joy for me. The last line of your haiku sans the period moves me further into the photo.

Thanks for all the nice comments. Yes, I took the photo along the drive that I take every day. Yesterday was extremely foggy and I got several good shots. I have some more haiku brewing that involves fog...
