October 2 Haiku

firetruck pjs

just knowing they're there -
sirens heard on a cold night,
stories in pjs

This haiku is in response to the One Deep Breath prompt: boyhood.

very nice! there used to be an old retired firetruck at a park i went to when i was a kid, and it was the most popular place in the playground!

I was *just* playing firetrucks with our neighbors son. Boys certainly seem to love them, don't they?
