I always start the year off with a determination to find a half an hour in the day when I can get outside and take a walk. Although the library is beautiful and engaging, I need the air and sunshine and wind of the outside world to wake me up and keep me humming. That is one reason I like doing recess duty (the kids being the other reason). In the first week of school this year I managed to get outside with my camera a few times.

okay, reading your post today tells me that i should have followed that impulse. i had just been thinking about going for a walk with my camera so that i could experience the world a little differently. this weekend that will be my mission. there is so much beauty that i just walk by --
Your photography is absolutely stunning. And what a great way to rejuvenate and recharge - not only do you get the fresh air and sunshine, but you end up with gorgeous photos.
