In Honor of Cherry Blossoms, some Haiku

A lovely spring night
suddenly vanished while we
viewed cherry blossoms

Come out to view
the truth of flowers blooming
in poverty

To learn how to die

watch cherry blossoms,
observe chrysanthemums

On the old plum tree,

one blossom by one blossom,
the spring thaw is born

By the barn, snow flies
In the field, cherry blossoms….
Walk which way, which way?

Our classroom window
Cherry petals drifting past...
Oh No! It’s snowflakes!

Agree with first poster...your blog is a refuge of sorts ~ peaceful, thought provoking. Lovely pictures and poetry, too.
