Joining PiBoIdMo 2011

I'm signed up for the Picture Book Idea Month challenge over at Tara Lazar's blog again this year. All through the month of November we try to come up with at least one idea a day for a new picture book that could be worked on and written in the coming year. I did it last year and came up with a list of ideas for books... none of which got written as yet. But still... those ideas are brewing. It's fun just brainstorming ideas, after all. How about you? Could you come up with at least one good idea a day? Try it! If writing picture books aren't your interest maybe there is something else creative you could jump start with such a challenge?

Ooh you're very brave! I just followed Laura PS's link to it and I'm tempted, but I'll just torture myself with unwritten books...and yet, shouldn't I, just once, challenge myself to write a poem a day for one little month? I could do it, if I insisted on 17 words or fewer (15 is always a stretch for me)!

Will you be my secret keeper, Andi?

Yay Heidi that is great! I know you can do it! It is such a good exercise and you really see yourself stretch just in the attempt, regardless of what is produced. I'm excited for you!

I feel doodling is great. When you start doodling, it doesn't make sense. But as the doodle grows, it just expresses so much about what you're thinking!
