Daffodil Haiku

daffodils at the fence

all along the fence
narcissus nodding, watching -
what will the wind bring?

-Andromeda Jazmon

I am posting a haiku a day for National Poetry Month. Check out what other blogging poets are doing here.

The Friday Poetry round up is hosted at ayuddha today. Enjoy!

Lovely. Do you have any books of haiku to recommend?

I hope the wind doesn't bring heavy snow!

Lovely poem. Don't you think haiku are perfect for capturing a snapshot in time.

This is lovely - I've had Wordsworth's Daffodils going through my head these last few days as where I live, although it's the opposite side of the country from Wordsworth's Lake District, we do have the beautiful, wee native daffs he was writing about.

Haiku is such a great!

As the clouds spread fast
The black birds horribly sing
It’s the devils work
