Friday Poetry: Rumi

At the turning of the year I am in the mood for Rumi:

moss among silver

look at love
how it tangles
with the one fallen in love

look at spirit
how it fuses with earth
giving it new life

why are you so busy
with this or that or good or bad
pay attention to how things blend

...read more of the Life & Death poems here.

The Friday Poetry roundup is over at A Year of Reading. Enjoy!

Huh.

Now, that one bears some real thinking...

This is lovely, and I agree -- it reflects and demands some real thought.
