January 9 Haiku

dawn

Sit in the dark.
The slightest rose of morning
will define the trees.

The prompt at One Deep Breath this week is to write haiku about subtle change. Look here for more haiku by contributing poets.

Wow, on both counts, photo and ku. I adore trees and roses...and, and... really nice all around. Oooh, and the idea of waiting through the dark for definition ... yesss

I'd like to give it a go myself -- if I weren't so tired. After some rest maybe.

I like yours. Very nice. :)
