De-Lurk Yourself!

I am trying to catch up on my blog reading and I keep seeing that it is National Blog De-lurking week. Is there anyone out there willing to de-lurk here for me right now? Please? How about telling me what great book you are reading or planning to read that you think I would like? I am feeling kinda left out over here folks! Just to let you know, I first started blogging because I was persuaded to de-lurk myself on Kim-kim's blog last year. You never know where it will take you so go ahead, jump in!

Hi! I just started reading. I think I got here from This Woman's Work, though I read so many blogs that I'm honestly not sure. I'm a librarian, an adoptive mother (Hannah is four) and I am super-close to finishing my first knitted pair of socks.

I recently read Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin. I really enjoyed it. I'm currently reading The Children of Men by P. D. James and am enjoying it thus far, but I haven't finished it yet.

Hello! I can't remember if I've commented befoer or not, but I think you commented on my blog once which is what brought me over here.

I'm currently reading Raymond Chandler's Lady in the Lake. I like it for its noir-ishness. The language is very cool.

Hey it's great to hear from all of you! I am going to look for those books and put them on my "to read" list. Kim.kim you would have made a great librarian.

hmmm.... I am currently reading boring work related stuff. But I just got a box from amaz*n in the mail with Kitten's First Moon for my box o' books for Guatebaby and Adoption Parenting: Creating a Toolbox for me.

Not sure how I found you but I love kids' books and maybe should have been a children's librarian. Next life...

I love your blog, finding it when you commented on mine some time ago. In fact, you inspired me to start writing more about books on my blog. Right now I'm reading The Echo Maker by Richard Powers. At some point, I'll probably write about it.

I am not a lurker, since this is my first time here.

I am currently reading The Second Mouse by Archer Mayor (he writes books about my town). It is okay. Next I will be rereading Wicked and then the sequel Son of a Witch.

Look forward to reading more.

Stopping in to say hi! I'm about to re-read Kiki Strike (because I read it months ago, and I'm on the Cybils judging committee). Have a great week!
