oak leaves

froth of ice at dawn
oak leaves brined in cold;
dark wet prints on grass.

You've made the pile of leaves poetic and your accompanying poem is a bonus.

Very nice. Love your choice of "uncommonly used words" - froth, brined. A splendid work with leaves!

Two really great words here worth singling out for recognition: 'froth' and 'brined.' Loved it!

Lovely imagery in this, especially the oak leaves brined in cold plus the bit of mystery behind the prints.
